ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Mike Chibbaro is a native of Greenville, South Carolina and a graduate of the University of South Carolina. He spent 31 years with a national accounting and consulting firm and for the past ten years has worked as a leadership consultant and executive coach. Mike is a passionate storyteller with a strong interest in preserving stories that relate to faith, sports and history.

He is the author of three books, Voices of Meadowbrook Park Memories of Greenville, South Carolina’s Historic Baseball Park (2022), The Mighty Generals, A Story of Basketball Championships and Racial Unity in the Deep South (2019), and The Cadillac, The Life Story of University of South Carolina Football Legend Steve Wadiak (2014). Mike lives in Greenville with his wife Cindy and they have three grown sons and five grandchildren.
